This year's FIT Show sees Eurocell focus in on four of its most popular products and systems across two stands – one dedicated to its high-performance, high aesthetic window and door systems; and another for its popular Equinox tiled conservatory roofs and Skypod roof lanterns.
Stand AT13 is hosting the undoubted star of the show in the form of the new Modus S, a mechanically jointed flush sash casement window, which combines modern materials with a truly traditional appearance. This achievement is possible thanks to precision-engineered mouldings inside the frame which remove the need for the tell-tale diagonal corner welds – a characteristic giveaway of standard PVC-U windows. 
The joint detail adds considerable authenticity to the window and enables delivery of a product with the true look of timber, while retaining all the performance benefits of PVC-U. Furthermore, it is up to 25% less expensive than the nearest equivalent PVC-U flush sash product.
Featuring a unique 75mm six-chamber profile system, the Modus range – the original game changer system, launched in 2014 – delivers optimum energy efficiency performance and can achieve a U-value as low as 0.7 W/m2K. The first PVC-U window and door system in the UK to offer a 12-year guarantee, Modus casement windows were among the first to be awarded the new A++ WER.
Modus and Modus S are available in 10 solid and woodgrain effect colours, all of which are available with white internal finishes, while more than 25 solid and woodgrain effect finishes can also be ordered. With sustainability in mind, the Modus range consists of 50% post-consumer recycled PVC-U as standard, and so has a smaller carbon footprint than products made or recycled outside of the UK. #originalgamechanger
Also on the stand is Aspect: Eurocell's innovative panoramic bi-fold door system. With ultra slim frames and over 30 unique features, many of them patented, Aspect is the first and only system of any material of its kind to gain BBA approval. Furthermore, it brings additional peace of mind – especially in the Part Q Building Regulations context – as it has also Secured by Design status (subject to fabricator accreditation).
Over on Stand A70, Eurocell gives rein to its premium roofing range – one of which features a stunning new tiling system. Equinox is the company's innovative tiled conservatory roof system. Advanced design features make Equinox simpler and faster to install. A three-man installation team can complete an Equinox tiled roof in just two days, and it will be watertight on day one, so it can be safely left overnight.
And now Equinox comes with SlateSkin – a swift installation and highly realistic slate-effect GRP tile sheet. With multiple tile courses built in to each sheet, SlateSkin reduces the time spent positioning and nailing tiles, with no compromise on build quality or aesthetics, while its lightweight allows the pitch to be set anywhere from 50 – a pitch that no other current tile system can currently achieve – to 350.
Guaranteed for 25 years, the SlateSkin sheet-tiling system is not only durable but up to 50% faster to fit than other conservatory tile roofing methods.
Beyond, Equinox and Slateskin, the stand also showcases the Skypod roof lantern range. Offering better value for money than aluminium or competitive PVC-U alternatives, Skypod has a fixed 20-degree roof pitch and is supplied with self-cleaning, temperature controlled glass in Blue, Neutral, Bronze and Clear as standard, with a U-value of 1.0W/m²K achievable.
Skypod is available in the full colour range of Anthracite Grey, Moondust Grey, Golden Oak, Rosewood and White – with a white interior finish as standard to maximise the light and airy feel. A further 25 colour options can be made to order in three weeks.
Fresh to the Skypod range is the SkypodSQ. This square skylight presents perfectly balanced sight lines and, due to its simple but ingenious four-hip design, lets in more natural light than conventional designs of equivalent surface area. SkypodSQ can be fitted quickly and accurately because there are no mitring or awkward angles to cut – just assemble and screw into place using the pre-drilled screw holes.
