Outstanding energy efficiency

Following a £3 million investment in research and development, Eurocell created Modus to deliver industry-leading energy efficiency. With a triple-seal option providing superb thermal performance and air tightness, U-values as low as 0.7 can be achieved – exceeding Passivhaus standards.

By specifying Modus, double-glazing costs can be reduced by up to 27%*. This unique system delivers more cost-effective triple-glazed specifications too. Modus – supporting the drive for an affordable zero-carbon future.

Maximum performance delivered cost-effectively

Environmental sustainability is one of the biggest issues in modern construction. And it’s something that Eurocell has embraced and will continue to support. Modus is no exception. In addition to its leading energy efficiency performance, Modus features 50%* post-consumer recycled PVC-U as standard. Intelligent design engineering means that the recycled material is concentrated in the central core of the profiles, where it is invisible in an installed window.

The outer faces remain virgin PVC-U – which guarantees colour-matching and finish quality. For customers who demand the highest possible recycled material content, a 100% post-consumer recycled PVC-U version of Modus is also available to order. Manufactured and recycled at our state-of-the-art plants in Derbyshire, Modus achieves a lower carbon footprint than rival systems manufactured or recycled outside of the UK.
